The club’s finances have been under more scrutiny than ever following last week’s £500m (5,56bn yuan) bond issue 偿债债券 designed to alleviate 减轻 the club’s debts of hundreds of millions of pounds with international banks.
The fact that fees 费用 paid to investment bankers 投资银行家 们 and lawyers 律师们 for the bond issue have already cost the club £54m (594m yuan), coupled with the fact that the Glazer family themselves have been borrowing millions of pounds from the club’s parent company 母公司 have led fans to organise themselves in protest against the Glazer family.
During the Hull game chants off "Love United, hate Glazer" and "stand up if you hate Glazer" echoed around the stadium.
