Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean.so all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Then Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.
Next,Love saw Sadness passing by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be alone now."
Then Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Love began to cry.Then,she heard a voice say, "Come, Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and sincerity,answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."
很久很久以前，有一个岛国，那里住了所有的感情：快乐，悲伤，谦虚，贪婪，知识，爱情......
有一天，这个小岛即将沉没，于是大家都赶紧收行李，坐上自己的小船，准备逃离这个小岛。爱情是唯一留下来的，他要坚守到最后一刻。
当整个岛都没入了海洋，爱情决定向其他感情求助。
财富驾驶着它的大船第一个经过，爱情对它说：
“财富，你可以带我一起走吗？”
财富回答说：“我的船上全都是金银珠宝，根本没有多余的空间了，所以我帮不了你。”
虚荣驾驶着漂亮的船经过，爱情对它说：
“虚荣，请带我一起走吧！”
虚荣看了看知识，说：“你全身湿哒哒的，我的船这么漂亮，我怕你弄脏我的船。”
这时候悲伤刚好经过，爱情又向它求救。但是悲伤同样的也拒绝了，因为悲伤早已经习惯了孤孤单单一个人……
不久快乐也划船过来了，但是它只顾着哼着愉快的歌，完全没有注意到爱情的求救。
就在爱情感到心灰意冷的时候，传来了一个老者声音：“我带你一起走吧！”爱情开心的笑了，它搭上了这位老者的小船，一起跟着离开了沦陷的小岛。
不久它们到达了陆地，老者放下了爱情，又继续自己的旅程了……获救的爱情这才想起，忘了问那位老者的姓名。
于是，爱情去问另一位叫“智慧”的老者：
“那天是谁救了我？”
“时间！”智慧老人回答道。
“时间？”爱情问道？“它为什么会救我？”
智慧老人微微一笑，回答道：“只有时间才会明白，爱情的价值有多大！”
