Crawling讲解
这首Crawling是贯穿整部电视剧的主题曲Linkin Park 近乎歇斯底里地的唱着的“惶惶不安的内心”和“透不过气的压力”，很容易让人联想到芝加哥监狱里窝在逼仄隔间的Michael。他低调沉静，他有超凡的智慧，他有不一般的坚韧。他的内心是否就像歌里唱的那样：恐惧逼近，惶惶不安呢？Crawling in my skin these wounds they will not heal, fear is how I fall, confusing what is real. 蠕动在我体内的伤口无法愈合，我恐惧，我跌倒了，我的眼前一片迷离，真真假假，我辨不清。开头的这句歌词就写出了“我”的恐惧，迷茫。
Crawl: move slowly, in the case of people or animals with the body near the ground; 缓慢的行动，尤指人或动物贴着地面爬行。
Crawling: a slow mode of locomotion on hands or knees or dragging the body. 蠕动，可以形容物体在手臂，膝盖等身体部位的蠕动或者涂抹---我感到有什么东西爬上了我的手臂---I feel that something is crawling up my arms; ---The ground was crawling with ants---地上爬满了蚂蚁
Crawl 还有一个意思是：拍马屁 ---She’s always crawling to the boss---她总是拍上司马屁，想想“跟在上司后面爬”，自然就是拍马屁了，用crawl 来表达很形象。
Fear is how I fall, confusing what is real. 恐惧是我跌倒的原因，什么是真什么是假，我感到迷惑 fear is how I fall: fear is the very thing that caused my falling or because deep inside I was so fearful so I fall. Confusing分不清，辨别不清，作形容词它的意思是：令人混淆的。我们再看几个例子---I am sorry I don’t know you, maybe you are confusing me with someone else---对不起我不认识你，也许你把我跟别人弄混了；---I am always confusing wheat with corn---我总分不清小麦和玉米。
There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface consuming confusing this lack of self-control I fear is never ending controlling. 我的皮肤下面有股力量在拽着我,它在强烈的拉扯，持续地拖拽 There’s something inside me that pulls beneath the surface, beneath the surface 在这里也就说under my skin. Beneath the surface or beneath the surface of something是很常用的。我们去名胜古迹，看到那些凹刻在坚硬的金属或石头上的图形或图案，那些图形图案就叫做a figure or design carved beneath the surface of hard metal or stone.
This lack of self-control I fear is never ending controlling. 失去了自我控制，这种感觉让我感到恐惧，我还在持续失控，恐惧控制了我linkin park 近乎要喊破喉咙地唱着“失控失控，我感到不安”，不知道是不是直指深陷监狱，越狱计划被打乱的Michael. 白宫的高级人物下令提早在监狱里“处理”掉林肯。典狱官、监狱里的黑帮老大、胆小怕事的同屋以及一场场意外，都给迈克尔的越狱计划带来了想象不到的麻烦。看起来，在30天内成功越狱真的只能是一个神话了。对于越发严峻的越狱形势，Michael 不能不感到a lack of self-control了。
I can't seem to find myself again. My walls are closing in (without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take). I've felt this way before. So insecure. 我似乎找不回自己，我感到四面的墙壁向我逼近，没有了一丝自信，我只感到一股强大的压力，这种感觉不是第一次，这样的不安，这样的恐慌 I can’t seem to find myself again, 我觉得丢失了自我，找不回自己 can’t seem to 仿佛，看上去 ---I can’t seem to shake off this cold---我这感冒仿佛老摆脱不掉 My walls are closing in 四面墙壁向我逼近close in 逼迫，逼近，---the enemy is closing in on us---敌人从四面八方向我们逼近. 指时间，空间距离缩短也可以用close in ---冬天来临，白天渐渐短了---the days are closing in now that winter is here.
Without a sense of confidence and I’m convinced that there’s just too much pressure to take. I am convinced 我深信不疑。
Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me distracting. Reacting against my will I stand beside my own reflection. It’s haunting how I can't seem to find myself again... 无休无止的紧张一直在我的体内作祟，痛楚一阵阵来袭，搅乱我的心绪，违背我的意愿。站在我的影子旁，恐惧依然缠绕我。这句描写我的内心活动，进一步唱出我的焦虑不安。纵使Michael为救哥哥出狱有天衣无缝的越狱计划和磐石般的决心，想必心中的焦虑也是和期盼并存的。越狱计划碰上了意想不到的麻烦，不知道Michael能不能冲出重围。
I’ve felt the way before, so insecure. 这种不安的感觉不是第一次，以前也有过 insecure, 不安，没有保障。你是不是也感到过不安，感到过insecure？现代社会的竞争压力想必会让为数不少的人都感到insecure吧。聪明过人，有点抑郁的Michael，不论是深陷监狱斗志斗勇，抑或是在监狱外面经营自己的白领事业，大概都会感到内心深深的孤独，抑郁，和不安。不知道是哪位哲人说过，孤独就是人的本质，那么不安，insecure也就在所难逃了吧。
