Nurses and fireman dominate British fantasies: poll

LONDON (AFP) - Nurses and firemen dominate the sexual fantasies of men and women in Britain with politicians and traffic wardens ranking near the bottom, according to a published poll.

英国近日公布的一项调查显示，英国人眼中的最佳性幻想对象是护士和消防员，而政治家和交通督导员基本上让人最没有性幻想。

Some 47 percent of women fantasize about firefighters, while almost 54 percent of men dream about women dressed in a nurse's uniform.

47％的女性的性幻想对象为消防员，而54％的男性则对身着护士服的女性更有“性”趣。

By contrast, only 1.7 percent of women confessed to having fantasies about politicians, while 6.5 percent of men fantasize about traffic wardens.

与此相反，只有1.7％的女性承认对政治家抱有性幻想，而6.5％的男性曾幻想过交通督导员。

Firemen are followed by soldiers, populating the dreams of 28 percent of women, businessmen (27 percent), doctors (26 percent), and footballers (20 percent).

At the bottom of the list of women's sexual fantasies were milkmen, only in 0.8 percent of women's dreams.

Men, who were more comfortable confessing to sexual fantasies, dreamed about nurses, maids (44 percent), and air hostesses (40 percent).

While a greater proportion of women fantasized about same sex relationships -- 23.5 percent compared to 5.3 percent of men -- men were more likely to dream about threesomes (55 percent versus 31 percent of women)

Some 40 percent of men and women also fantasized about sex with a celebrity.

The survey questioned 1,818 people above the age of 16 and was carried out by Budget Van Insurance.
